Heeeey!

Well first of all let me start by saying I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and got everything you wished for off Santa! Secondly, let me say happy be-lated new year to you all! Wishing you all the best for 2013, and for people with CF a healthy as can be year, and to everyone who's starting the "wonder drug" Kalydeco, good luck and sending positive vibes your way.

As you all know everyone with cf and everyone who knows a person with cf, we are one large family! Always there for each other, thinking of each other and being a good support network for each and every single person whether it be a cf'er, a parent with a child who has cf or a friend who has a friend with cf etc. So for all of you reading this blog right now, I'm going to ask you to do one thing for me, and that is can we all please spare a thought for everyone who is waiting for new lungs/livers and other organs, and praying that 2013 is their year. Thank you!

This is Lizzie and Katie they are teenagers and they have CF, they are on the list for a Lung transplant. All they want to do is be like an average teenager so let's hope and pray this year is their year and they both get shiny new lungs, they so desperately deserve. They are the most strongest, inspirational, sweetest, beautiful people I have met, and if anyone deserves new lungs it should be these two.

This is Kerry, Kerry is 21 and has CF she is living off a lung function of just 8% although I don't know Kerry, I have read and kept up to date with her blogs, Facebook posts, and she's going through a pretty rough time at the moment, and needs all the support/prayers to get her through this hard time, hopefully all these prayers, wishes will pay off and she will get her call any day now! She truly is a fighter and an inspiration. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed for her. Come on Kerry!

Let's not forget about the people we have loved and lost this year also.
R.I.P Lucy you will always be in my thoughts for ever and always. CF can't hurt you anymore, you still are and always will be our fighter. Fly freely up there, Breath easy and I hope you're sharing your funny and bubbly personality up there. Happy new year sweetie. You will never be forgotten. We all miss you down here. Heaven only takes the best and you certainly was one of the best <3

Sorry I haven't written a blog for a few weeks, it's because I didn't have much time to write a blog over the Christmas period, it has been very busy! So this one is going to be a bit jam packed. (Meaning brace yourselves)

Cheesy quote of the day: "Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice: It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved"

Let me start off with Christmas day, I had a lovely Christmas day I spent it with my family. It wasn't that much hectic, it was pretty much a quiet day I woke up, opened my presents of course with my twin, and then had my Christmas dinner, had a cheeky drink (or two) and watched the soaps with my family, can't miss the drama on the soaps at Christmas day can you?
My Christmas day is really the 26th as I love the boxing day sales, so on boxing day I woke up early got myself dressed and went to the sales, with my Twin, Mum and Mike (my Step-dad)i got
so much stuff and spent up... I bought that much, that when I came home i couldn't fit it all in my wardrobe (Oops). So i had to sort out all my wardrobe,  Eventually after a few hours i managed to get it all in thank god!
On the 27th i had my Hospital Appointment, told you i was busy hahaha! Erm, to be honest can't really tell you much on that as my physio wasn't in so couldn't do a lung function. But, I'm really happy as i don't know weather I've mention it before, but "apparently" I've stopped growing. As i have stayed at 151cm for over a year now, but got myself weighed and my height done as i normally do, to find out I've grown 1cm woo, might of cheated though as i had my hair in a pretty high bun, (Hopefully it wasn't the bun)...but, who cares it said 152cm. Oh and my weight has stayed pretty stable so that's wicked! Overall, it was a good appointment have to go back sometime in January to do a lung function but I'm not to sure when.
Normally over Christmas/New year i come down with a cough and cold but I'm pretty proud of myself as this year i managed to escape it woo! *dances* (Although i do have it now ahh well...)
New year was good as i went to Talacre in Wales, don't know weather you have heard of it or?
It was good spent it with my family, and family friends, had a lovely weekend away it was a break!
Pretty much was going partying every night in different friends caravans, and eating loads of food and snacks so you can't not like that can you?!
I came back home on Tuesday and all I've done now for the past few days has been boring. To be honest all I've just being doing is watching TV on and off and doing coursework really, as I've gone and left it last minute like i normally do! WELL DONE CHAN! So i have been stressing out about that. Since I've been back I've lived in my PJ's trying to get this coursework finished, and recovering from this awful cold before i go back to College. So that's about it really. I'm pretty surprised I've managed to jam that in, without loads of words, and hopefully without boring use!

So before i go, We are now in 2013 so make 2013 a time to change your life for the better. So as it's new year then please let Organ Donation be one of them changes? www.organdonation.nhs.uk sign up, and speak up! Remember Live Life Then Give Life.
